Rui Murua is a Senior Director at Fund Services Group. He leads the Investor Services team within our Fund Administration Services area that focuses on the Investor Lifecycle Experience from onboarding through reporting. His leadership responsibilities include a focus on the subscription and onboarding process for the investors of our clients, as well as the money movements of our clients, their investors, and their private funds.

Rui has roughly 20 years of experience in the Finance industry. Prior to joining FSG, Rui led the Fund Administration Operations team for more than 120 clients at a multi-national group, overseeing $40B in Assets Under Administration. Prior to his time with the Fund Administration Operations team, Rui spent five years at Goldman Sachs as an Operations Specialist, during which time he relocated to the U.S. Rui started his career as an Investor Relations Consultant in a firm that serviced all of Brazil's stock-exchange listed Large Cap Companies. Rui holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universidade Mackenzie in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Rui has two children, a boy and a girl, and enjoys spending his time with family and his two dogs. He relishes weekends outdoors, as well as grilling. As a hobby Rui has always been passionate about surfing, has recently picked up competing in triathlons, and is enjoying the challenges and humbling effects of learning new things.
